Terms of Use for MY BOY Emulator – Retro Gaming

Welcome to MY BOY Emulator – Retro Gaming (“we,” “our,” “us”). These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the MY BOY mobile application (“App”). By downloading or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Use of the App

MY BOY is a third-party emulator designed to run retro console games. The App does not include any game ROMs and does not provide or promote pirated content. You may only use the App to play games that you legally own.

2. User Responsibility

You are solely responsible for:

  • Obtaining game ROMs legally (from backups of cartridges or public domain releases).
  • Complying with all applicable laws in your jurisdiction related to emulation and intellectual property.

We do not condone the use of illegally acquired ROMs and are not responsible for any misuse of the App.

3. Intellectual Property

All trademarks, logos, and game content related to retro games are the property of their respective owners. MY BOY does not claim any ownership or affiliation with any console or game company.

4. Prohibited Conduct

By using the App, you agree not to:

  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the App’s source code.
  • Use the App for illegal purposes.
  • Violate any copyright or intellectual property laws.

5. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the App will function without interruption or be error-free.

Use of the App is at your sole risk.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any damages or losses resulting from the use or inability to use the App, including but not limited to loss of data, ROMs, or device malfunction.

7. Modifications to the App or Terms

We reserve the right to:

  • Modify or discontinue the App at any time without notice.
  • Update these Terms. Continued use of the App after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.

8. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of California, without regard to conflict of laws principles.
