Remote Control for TV – Play + (“the App,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our iOS application.

1. Information We Collect

We do not collect personal information such as your name, email address, phone number, mailing address, or contacts.

We also do not require account creation to use the App.

2. Analytics and Technical Data

We use Firebase Analytics to understand how users interact with the App and to improve performance and features.

Firebase Analytics may collect non-personal, aggregated, or pseudonymous technical data, which can include:

  • app interactions and usage events
  • device type
  • operating system version
  • app version
  • general diagnostic and performance information

This information is used only to analyze app usage and improve the App. We do not use this data to identify you personally.

3. Firebase Functions

The App uses Firebase Functions to support certain app features and backend operations.

When the App communicates with Firebase Functions, limited technical information necessary to process requests may be transmitted, such as:

  • device or app-related technical data
  • request and response metadata
  • temporary logs needed for reliability, security, and troubleshooting

We do not use Firebase Functions to collect personal information from users.

4. In-App Purchases and Subscriptions

The App offers auto-renewable subscriptions and other in-app purchases through Apple’s App Store.

When you make a purchase, the transaction is processed by Apple, not by us. We do not collect or store your payment card details, billing address, or other financial information.

We may receive limited information from Apple, such as:

  • purchase status
  • subscription status
  • transaction-related identifiers needed to validate purchases

This information is used only to manage your subscription and provide purchased features.

5. Advertising

The App does not display third-party ads.

6. Personal Information

We do not intentionally collect personal information.

If you contact us directly, you may choose to provide information such as your email address and the contents of your message. We will use that information only to respond to your inquiry.

7. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your information.

We may share limited technical data only with service providers that help us operate the App, such as:

  • Google Firebase for analytics and backend functionality
  • Apple for in-app purchase and subscription processing

These providers process data according to their own privacy terms and only as needed to provide their services.

8. Data Retention

Because we do not collect personal information directly, we generally do not maintain personal data about users.

Non-personal analytics or technical logs may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary to:

  • maintain app functionality
  • monitor performance
  • fix errors
  • improve the App
  • comply with legal obligations

9. Children’s Privacy

The App is not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

If you believe that a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us so we can address the issue.

10. Your Choices

You may be able to limit certain analytics or diagnostic data through your device settings, such as Apple privacy settings.

You can also manage or cancel subscriptions through your Apple ID account settings in the App Store.

11. Third-Party Services

The App uses third-party services that may process limited technical data:

  • Apple App Store / In-App Purchases
  • Google Firebase Analytics
  • Google Firebase Functions

Your use of those services may also be subject to the privacy policies and terms of those third parties.

12. Security

We take reasonable measures to protect the App and related systems. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

13. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Effective date” at the top of this policy. Continued use of the App after changes become effective means you accept the updated policy.
