Qrypton Crypto Wallet Privacy Policy

Thank you for choosing Qrypton (“we,” “us,” or “our”).  Your privacy is critically important to us.  This Privacy Policy explains how Qrypton handles data in connection with your use of the Qrypton app (the “Service”).

1. No Personal Data Collection

  • Non-custodial by design: Qrypton never collects, stores, or transmits your private keys, seed phrases, or account balances. All wallet data is stored locally on your device under your sole control.
  • No sign-up required: You are not required to create an account, provide an email address, password, or any personal information to use Qrypton.

2. Third-Party Swap Providers

When you perform token swaps, Qrypton routes your trade requests directly to decentralized swap protocols.  We do not ever custody, log, or analyze your swap transactions.  The protocols we support include (but are not limited to):

  • Thorchain
  • PancakeSwap
  • Uniswap

Each of those protocols is governed by its own privacy and data-handling practices.  Qrypton acts solely as an interface—you retain full control of your funds and transaction data.

3. Analytics & Crash Reporting

  • Optional, anonymous usage analytics: If you opt in, Qrypton may collect aggregate usage statistics (e.g. feature usage counts, error rates) to help us improve the app.  This data is anonymized and cannot be tied back to you or your wallet addresses.
  • Crash reports: With your consent, we may receive basic crash logs (stack traces) to diagnose and fix errors.  These reports do not include any wallet or transaction details.

4. Cookies & Web Views

Qrypton does not use cookies.  Any in-app WebView (for Terms, Privacy screens, or DApp browser) inherits only the web content, not your wallet credentials.  You remain in full control of any signed-in sessions you choose to initiate within that WebView.

5. Security

  • All sensitive wallet data (private keys, passcodes) is encrypted on-device using industry-standard algorithms.
  • Duress Mode, backup/restore, and biometric/passcode locks add further protection.
  • Qrypton’s open-source code is regularly audited by leading security firms.

6. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time.  If there are material changes, we will post a notice within the app or via our official channels.  The “Last updated” date above will reflect when the policy was last revised.

Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of the Qrypton application (“Service”).  By installing or using Qrypton, you agree to these Terms.

1. License Grant

Subject to these Terms, Qrypton grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service on your compatible device for personal, non-commercial purposes.

2. No Custody, No Personal Data

  • Qrypton is a non-custodial wallet: you—and only you—control your private keys and funds.
  • We do not collect or store your private keys, seed phrases, wallet balances, transaction history, or personal identifying information.

3. Third-Party Services & Risks

  • Qrypton integrates with decentralized protocols such as Thorchain, PancakeSwap, and Uniswap for token swaps.  These protocols are independent entities with their own terms and risk profiles.
  • You acknowledge and accept that:
    • Transactions are executed on public blockchains and are irreversible.
    • Qrypton does not guarantee the availability, performance, or outcome of any transactions routed through these third-party protocols.
    • You bear sole responsibility for verifying addresses, amounts, and transaction details before confirming any on-chain operation.

4. Disclaimer of Warranties

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

5. Limitation of Liability

IN NO EVENT SHALL QRYPTON OR ITS AFFILIATES BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR FUNDS, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

6. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Qrypton and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the Service, or your violation of any law or the rights of a third party.

7. Amendments

We may revise these Terms from time to time.  The “Last updated” date will reflect the newest version.  Continued use after changes indicates your acceptance of the updated Terms.

8. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of California, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.  Any disputes will be resolved exclusively in the courts located in California, USA.
